I am a returning student. I had an opportunity (and really nice scholarship) right out of high school to go to school for music. I promptly blew it. Now, here I am, at 36 with a husband and two children trying to be a double major...and kind of killing it! But I will tell you that it is hard. So. Very. Hard. It is hard enough when you do not have all of the "adult" responsibilities, live on campus, and attend all the study groups with friends until the wee hours. I don't have those luxuries and for that I am both thankful (I have really fantastic kids at home waiting for me to cook dinner), and frustrated (hello late night study group).
Another thing that I think is interesting is the fact that we do not use pianos in classes like music theory and aural skills. What?!?!?!? As someone interested in the education side of music, I find this the hardest pill to swallow. What about all the students who are not auditory or visual learners? What about me? I can get by with listening to lectures and doing a crazy amount of homework but when it comes time to actually apply some of this stuff, it would be really nice if I could reach out and touch it. Then I would also know what it feels like and can better recreate that.
This semester is drawing to a close and it is time for our sophomore barrier...the test that we must pass if we are to go on in music. As scary as that is, this is going to begin a new chapter in our education and should do a great deal in bolstering o<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">ur courage to make it through the next three years.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05025723037367890432noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3072113891733027343.post-45089499649288376382017-10-29T13:42:00.000-05:002017-10-29T13:42:42.662-05:00What Does That Make You Think Of?One of our favorite games to play in our house is "What does that make you think of?" It is a simple game that we can play quickly or for as long as we want. The game is simple. One person will play a tune on an instrument or from a recording and we will all make a picture in our minds of what the song is conveying to us. Our seven year old loves to make up a tune on the piano and gives us hints as to what we should be feeling. From this game our children have come to appreciate all types of music and the power music has. We discuss how the different instruments sound and the kids love to guess which ones sound like a bumblebee, thunder, rain, galloping horses, and so forth. One of my favorite times happened in a parked car at HEB. My husband ran in the store to pick up a couple things and the kids and I stayed in the car playing our game. I started playing Flight of the Bumblebees and as soon as my husband got in the car, he started waving his arms around as if he was being swarmed by bees. The kids laughed so hard that it was a good thing they were strapped in their carseats! Music has such a powerful way of making us feel, remember, worship, exercise, clean, advertise, cook...you get the picture. It can cheer us up, pump us up, or thrust us in to melancholy. I would like to leave you with some of my Monday songs. Some are conveying my "oh dang, it is Monday" feelings, while others are along the lines of "may as well have fun if I have to be doing a Monday"...
It grows and changes as the centuries come and go. One area of worship is similar throughout, and that is the use of music. On any given Sunday, we can find organs, orchestras, choirs, flag wavers, dancers, praise bands, and any combination facilitating a closer encounter with God. This is happening in churches, homes, and even under bridges in large cities. We can even find small churches such as primitive Baptist congregations singing in harmonies, as many as there are voices, without instrumentation. We have introits and interludes that are a far cry from the hedonistic instrumental music of antiquity! With all of our musical options, the only thing that is constant is that using music in worship is not constant!

For me, I prefer a combination of old and new. I enjoy a stately organ playing the Doxology and Gloria Patri while at the same time, I have a strong need for emotional, "give it to Jesus" tear fests. Crazy, I know.

One of the most pure worship experiences I have had took place on a Walk to Emmaus retreat. While singing directly to Jesus, (Jesus, Jesus let us tell you how we feel), with a pre-prepared ambiance, I truly felt what I think it will be like in heaven. Singing praise with the multitudes all around God!

I have also encountered times where music detracted from my worship experience. I have been part of praise teams and choirs in which someone (even myself a time or two) were not prepared, and therefore unable to give our very best praise. Unfortunately, that can become a distraction to the congregation. I have also been so overtaken with the power, love, and emotion for Christ, and seeing that in the congregation that we were not even able to finish the song we were singing. Let me tell you, that is a moment so full of the Holy Spirit!

If you enjoy the closeness that comes from sharing a hymnal with the person next to you, dancing down the isles, singing at the top of your lungs, listening to choirs, bands, or soloists sing, or even leaving music out entirely, that is ok. It is not about the music. As long as we keep focused who our heavenly Father is, that is what it is all about.
Let's dive right on in!

Anticipation tone: These are approached by step, end on the same note and happen on weak beats. Basically, it is the anticipation of reaching the next chord and going ahead and getting there just a little bit early. Prematurely, if you will. I thought a good song to look for this would be none other than "Anticipation" sung by Carley Simon.

https://youtu.be/4NwP3wes4M8

The first place I found it was at the :28 mark on the word "Really".
I found it again at 1:27 on the word "Word"

The most appropriately important use is at :46 on An-tic-i-pat-ion. It happens on the "I" and is glorious!

Neighbor tone: These are basically a decoration of a single note. If you have an E, you might go up to an F or down to a D and then return right away to the E. They can be strong (accented) or on weak beats. They are approached by step and left by step in the opposite direction. Mr. Rogers theme song anyone?

https://youtu.be/zMUGJZrR9Jg

The first time I hear a neighbor tone is all over the instrumental opening but for my purposes, I will stick with spots where lyrics can be used as a landmark.

I hear it at :33 on the word "Neighbor" and again at :36 on "A Neighbor"
It is everywhere in this song!!!! Did I mention how happy this song has made me as I am writing this? It is making me so happy! HAPPY!!!!
Sorry for getting sidetracked...on to the next type of tone.

Escape tone: This one is a little bit of fun! What happens here is movement by step with a leap in the opposite direction. Picture climbing up the steps to the diving board, and then hurling yourself off! I am quite pleased with the musical offering I have for you on this one. I had no idea the song was called Escape (the pina colada song)!

https://youtu.be/_WkR2Tv4dq4

I find escape tones in the chorus at :45 and :49 with the words "getting caught in the rain" and "not into yoga." It continues in the rest of the choruses as well.

I hope you enjoyed this little bit of lightness as we prepare for summer!
From the hours spent sitting with our ear up to the boombox and our finger poised over the record button, to the inevitable break-up mix-tape, they were a huge part of life for the angsty teenager.
Making just the right mix-tape for any occasion was an art form. If we were lucky enough to be the proud owner of a boombox with two tape-decks, the world was our oyster. Armed with a blank tape, a piece of scotch tape, a pencil and the radio, we could make around 60 minutes of super specific entertainment for ourselves. Going on vacation? There was a tape for that. Just get dumped? There were probably a couple tapes for that. Your crush noticed you in the hall and now you feel all warm and fuzzy inside? You know it...there was a tape for that!
I fondly remember sitting in my room on the weekends waiting for the newest hit song to play so I could hit the record button and capture it for all eternity (well, we know better now). The double tape-deck allowed us to get the best songs off of a previously purchased cassette and add them to mix for "riding in the car on a sunny day" or "parents suck."
With advances in technology came advances in the mix-tape. The format went to CD and gone were the days of collecting songs off the radio. Now we were ripping, and queuing our hearts out. Think your friend needs to hear these songs? You could easily duplicate the mix for them with the touch of a button. Making a mix was easier in a lot of ways but it also brought to light the topic of piracy. Napster and other sites would allow a user to get songs for "free", but it was always at the expense of the artist. I loved the freedom I had to get my favorite songs off the the CD's I would buy and having them all in one place.
Today, we can create playlists and make "stations" but it is not as fun as it was when we could make our own tapes. Our playlists don't take near the thought to create and we can't really share them with others like we could before we understood the legal ramifications of doing so. I believe we are being exposed to more types of music than in the past with these new advances but the familiarity of our favorite bands singing our favorites songs for that time I needed a "sleep over" tape are long gone.
Mix on, good people!
I am kind of excited about this blog post since I get to take a "popular" song of today and analyze it using what we have learned so far in theory. I normally would have chosen a Contemporary Christian song (as this is a Christian blog), but, that would be too easy as most of them follow similar chord progressions and use the same chords! For our purposes, I have chosen to analyze "Stressed Out" by Twentyone Pilots.
Here is a clip of the song as found on Youtube.com:
It'd be to my brother, 'cause we have the same nose,
Same clothes homegrown a stone's throw from a creek we used to roam,
But it would remind us of when nothing really mattered,
Out of student loans and treehouse homes we all would take the latter.
To me, part of the popularity of this song comes from the fact that the lyrics are appealing to different generations. I, at 35, enjoyed them because they are relatable to where I am in life. Life is hard and many of us dream of those easier times where we could pretend, play and had our sweet moms singing us a lullaby. Life was simple then and the gentle reminders in these lyrics fill me with beautiful memories of those times.
To the younger listeners, the lyrics can give a sense of being more mature. I may very well be alone in that opinion, but as a youth, I felt more mature and important when I could commiserate with adults.

Musically, there are certain principles that composers follow. The only ones we have learned about so far are the ones that Bach would have used. Let's see if some of those can be applied here!

I found that this song is in the key of A minor. The first thing I notice (from looking at the first page sample on musicnotes.com) is that the piece starts on A3. That would make Bach very happy as it was good practice to start on tonic.

The second thing I notice is that the chord progression of the first "I wish" section follows the minor mode chord progression flow chart as it should. They start with a VI, move to the iv, and use plagal motion to finish on the i chord.

The chord progression of the chorus (as found on Ultimate-guitar.com in the comment section of this song) goes VI-III-i-V-i-vii dim-III-V
From what we have learned about proper chord progression the only thing that would work in Bach's opinion would be the transition from the i-V-i.
Now, as this is modern popular music, those same principles do not make or break a song.

In the second verse we can hear the piano come in with a series of minor 3rd's being arpeggiated adding another layer of texture.

The steady drum beat and use of synthesized "space-like/robotic" sounds keep the song moving. When combined with the catchy lyrics and rhythms, we have a recipe for a song that has gained great popularity with young and old!Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05025723037367890432noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3072113891733027343.post-10776785788153661642017-01-23T19:01:00.001-06:002017-01-23T19:01:28.313-06:00Music and WorshipOne look in the Psalms, or on an internet site about scripture, and you are sure to see something about music and worship...or 42 if you are looking at openbible.info! The way I see it, the more heartfelt music I hear in worship, the closer to God I feel. That however, is just my opinion on the matter, and coming from a music education and church music major, I would be dismayed to feel differently. This post is not about my opinion though. The authors and scribes of the Bible have some things to say about it, so looking there would be a great place to start!
Let's look at Psalm 95:1 for our first clue. This verse reads "Oh come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!" I would say this one is pretty cut and dry. This Psalm is often labeled "An Invitation to Praise God." The next verse goes a bit farther in saying "Let us come before his presence..." Now, the Psalmist could be talking about the day we meet our Creator face to face, but I don't think that is what he meant about being in His presence. I see this as spending time at, and in worship. For the record, Psalm 100:1-2 says the same thing with "Come into His presence with singing."
The next verse to look at is Psalm 33:3. This one is a little different in that it mentions making music skillfully. I am one of those people who believe that Jesus loves us whether we can sing or not and I encourage others around me who may be too shy, or told they are not good at singing, to sing out in worship. This verse is going in to a little more detail though. As I understand it, this means to continue finding new things to be grateful for; new ways to thank God, and do it well. If you are a singer or musician, you had better hone that gift by practicing. If you can do it, don't go to God with less than your best!
In 1 Corinthians 14:26 we read this sage advice,"What then, brothers? When you come together, each one has a hymn, a lesson, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation. Let all things be done for building up." This verse is Paul talking to the church in Corinth and, in a nutshell, teaching them how to live and worship as the Kingdom of God. I feel that he is urging them to share their gifts. If God gives you the inspiration to write a praise song, write it and share it. Don't keep that stuff to yourself. If God gave you a talent for making music, do it and do it to the best of your ability. Just as he is saying that if you have the gift of tongues, you should surround yourself with someone to interperate so that all can enjoy.
If we look in the Old Testament, we can hear about God himself about music and worship. Zephaniah 3:17 says that "The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy, he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing." Singing! This is where you should be able to hear the "mic drop" but I got another one for you that puts it as plain as day.
Psalm 92:1 wraps it all up. "It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High." This one has it all. Singing, instrumentation, hyms, and psalms. This Psalm is called "A Psalm or Song for the sabbath day." Now you may be thinking, "But the sabbath day is on Saturday" and you would be correct. However, in Acts we see numerous verses that tell us that Paul and the other followers of Christ met on the sabbath to pray and give praise, or for our purpose here, worship.
As I stated right off the bat, I am a believer in the power of music to help facilitate worship. I have spent my life singing praises while either leading worship, or being led to a closer encounter with God by the words or melody of a song. I have given my best praise, and will continue to do so through music and now I can rest knowing that makes God, my Father, well pleased.
Life has continued, my son is now six, I have a daughter and we just celebrated her third birthday. I also have sprouted a nice little crop of grey hairs! By order of my music theory Professor, I am now the owner of an active blog. The format will change a little bit and include posts about music. But as music is from our great God, I guess it won't be too different after all! And who knows...there may be some other fun stuff like reviews and giveaways coming soon as well!Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05025723037367890432noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3072113891733027343.post-52899257400178295292014-12-22T16:23:00.001-06:002014-12-22T16:23:21.639-06:00Baby OrajelLet me start this post by saying that I am actively trying to find natural remedies for whatever ails my family. I have been able to replace one of these chemical ridden or natural products that, even though they are natural, still contain dangerous or unregulated ingredients. Teething gel. I was given a free product from Orajel and Smiley360 to review and offer honest feedback. I was a little nervous about giving this a try on my daughter and was fully prepared to send it back if I thought it might be dangerous. I did not have too. Baby Orajel Naturals Nighttime Teething Gel is a fast working, safe and effective product for pain associated with teething pain. This did not contain Belladonna which was of great concern to me. It also is free of benzocaine, and that was ankle selling point. We love how this works on our daughter and will be recommending it to all of out parent friends.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05025723037367890432noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3072113891733027343.post-59076331241949432502014-11-13T12:03:00.002-06:002014-11-13T12:04:34.953-06:00I am in LOVE with Sleep Number beds!I was recently given the opportunity to go to a Sleep Number store and find out my SleepIQ and I am now in love. First of all, I need to say that this opportunity came from Sleep Number and Smiley360 for the purpose of a review. All opinions are 100% my own and honest. That being said, ANYONE can walk in to a Sleep Number store and find our their own SleepIQ number. I went to my local store in Georgetown, Texas and met the most amazing and informed salesperson. His name is Robert and I could not have asked for anyone better to show me that I was missing out on.

The service was prompt and personalized. He knew my name and used it, which made me feel like they actually cared about my needs rather than making a sell. He started by giving me some facts about Sleep Number mattresses and really, all mattresses in general. He asked about the age of the mattress we are using now and pointed out some interesting facts about the life span of most mattresses. I then got to take one of the models for a test drive! I was able to lay down with the bed at 100. I must say that it was not all that comfortable to me. Robert let me know that it was akin to laying on the floor. It was as firm as it gets. I was kind of surprised by this as I assumed I would be at a high number.

This is when the fun begins! He started lowering the number and I was to tell him when I was the most comfortable I have ever been. That took me to 40. Then he reset it and did it again. This time I was at a 30. He took the average, 35, and let me know that that was my sleep number!

I was pleasantly surprised to find out that there is a way to replace the foam when it has compressed too much for optimal comfort without buying a whole new mattress. It was also nice to know that there is a warranty on the beds.

My next stop was to one of the adjustable beds, the M7. I liked it when I initially lay on it but I must say that after a while, I wanted to go back to the C3 bed that I was originally on. I can't really say why as the M7 is a memory foam and is just like laying on a cloud.

The M7 was on an adjustable base that does a ton of tricks. My favorite being the zero gravity position. I will be bringing my hubby in to see if he likes it as much as I do. If not, we will need the spit base so both sides can move independently of each other. +

I can't wait to purchase my own Sleep Number bed...with adjustable base...in the future. I know it won't be so far in the future as they offer incentives like cash back and interest free financing all the time.

Overall, I would highly recommend to everyone that you go visit your local Sleep Number store and find out your own SleepIQ. You won't be sorry!
I must say that I have a tough time using any product on my lips as it either "feathers" or gets wiped/licked off too easily...because I am afraid it has started to look weird on my lips. With that being said, I must now tell you that I LOVE this stuff!

I wake up in the morning and use the "day" side. This stuff is amazing as it works so well. First of all, it is full of SPF 12 that is so important to me, especially here in Texas. It has a mild smell but no taste which is great for me as I tend to lick my lips more often when a product has a yummy flavor. If companies don't want me to lick their products than they should not have made it taste like candy!
The second thing I noticed was how long it stayed on without feeling gunky. That is the hardest part for me as I am very self aware of how I am looking.

Now, on to the other awesome part of this product! I use the "Night" side before I go to bed. It leaves my lips so soft and smooth. My husband loves the way my lips now!

The ChapStick Hydration Lock Day and Night lives up to its claims and name. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for healthier lips.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05025723037367890432noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3072113891733027343.post-70598913133127215672013-11-12T17:44:00.001-06:002013-11-12T17:44:07.472-06:00I Just Joined Smiley360I Just Joined Smiley360Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05025723037367890432noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3072113891733027343.post-2726805986103555562013-09-10T12:24:00.001-05:002013-09-10T12:24:50.734-05:00A.R.K.This year, in my community, people have been working really hard to make this a better world to live in. A world where everyone can see Christ's love through our actions. Acts of Random Kindness. I have seen lists posted everywhere with ideas and even some of our radio stations have started providing business card type notes that let folks know that they have just been "served" with kindness. I love it! Now that the holiday season is quickly approaching, I would love to see some of your holiday themed ideas so show those acts of random kindness.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05025723037367890432noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3072113891733027343.post-1076932097652632162013-09-10T12:08:00.000-05:002013-09-10T12:08:04.869-05:00Woohoo! Something you probably don't know about me is that I love Christmas. LOVE! I love everything about that time of year. My Christmas starts on Thanksgiving day. The one day of the year I don't have to button up my pants to sit down at the dinner table and gorge myself on food. It is even acceptable to wear a nice shirt with pajama bottoms. It is like a mullet for clothing. Business up top and a party below! Once we are all at the table, all we see is the nice shirt! Anyhow, before I start drooling, I wanted to talk more about Christmas. Did I mention I love Christmas?! I love what Christmas is...the birth of our Savior. I love that it is a time for family. I love that my husband (a teacher) gets two weeks off. I love the trees, decorations and lights. I love the food! I love the gift giving...as well as the receiving! Which brings me to the purpose of this post. How to earn money (or even win prizes) to use for gift giving. As we are a one income family, Christmas can also be kind of stressful for us. Coming out of November that has our sons birthday, travel for and other expenses makes my husband and I toss the "how and where" question back and forth. Yes, I do know that it is not about giving and receiving but rather about the birth of Christ and His promise to us but...the traditions are fun too!

Swagbucks: Around October of last year, I decided to join Swagbucks. We bought our son a drum set with what I earned from there. I saved up 450 swagbucks at a time and traded them for $5 Amazon gift cards. It added up fast! Since January, I have earned about $35 that I can use at Amazon.com. You can earn bucks by doing surveys, playing games, signing up for free trials such as Netflix and Hulu and even by printing and redeeming coupons.
Here is a link to get started earning with Swagbucks today!

Inbox Dollars: This is something I have been doing since around November of last year. This one is much slower earning but you really don't have to do anything but open emails to get money. They pay .02 for every email that you confirm. Two clicks is all it takes. Easy as pie. They will cut you a check once you have reached $30. I just requested my first check and expect it to be in the mail next month. They gave me an extra $3 for requesting a check and now I am about to be ready to request another $30! They do give you a $5 bonus for signing up. There are other ways to earn such as surveys, games and offers.
Entering giveaways: This has been an easy and fun way to win prizes from gift certificates to toys! I love getting up in the morning and checking my email to see if I have a "Congratulations" message. I have located several low entry giveaway links that I use on a regular basis.
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">Recently, I asked a friend of mine if she wanted to team up with me and audition to sing the National Anthem for one of our minor league baseball games. It had been a very long time since I had to audition for anything and I was pretty nervous but she said yes and so we went! While we were singing, I had an incredible case of stage fright but we got through it and did an awesome job. We had such a great time and also came to the conclusion that the reason we were nervous was because we were actually performing. We sing in front of people on a weekly basis but that is far different. When we sing at churches or for different ministries around town, we are not actually performing. We are lifting up the name of The Lord and singing to Him. He is our only audience. He is the one who deserves all glory. He is the one who gave us the talent in the first place! It was a really humbling reminder that we sometimes get caught up in what we are doing and sometimes end up with our intent a little "off". We did not make the cut this time and I must say that the feeling I had felt really bad! I wanted to be the one to sing. I wanted the opportunity for my family to come and hear what I have been doing lately. Some of the ministries I am singing with are not safe or suitable for children to attend...I sing at a church that is held underneath our freeway bridge as well as for Celebrate Recovery. The lesson here (I think) is that there are just too many "I's" here. It is not about me. It is not for this world that I should be singing. The only one who matters here is our Savior! To God be the glory! The experience did give us a new found appreciation for what secular singers and songwriters must go through! :)

So that brings me to my new endeavor! I need to practice the guitar. I piddle around with it but have no real skills...yet. I will be needing to play a lot better since I keep saying "Yes, Lord! Send me!" That's good though. We should step out of our comfort zones occasionally for Him. He will always guide us and protect us when we are glorifying Him. He has given me two such reasons and though I am terrified, I know that with a little hard work and a whole lot of prayer, success will come and it will be awesome!

I can't wait to see what He has in store for me...and those who I will be bringing the Gospel to, through music!Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05025723037367890432noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3072113891733027343.post-55098677826182487302012-11-27T08:26:00.000-06:002012-11-27T08:26:50.926-06:00Coming Soon!I just wanted to let you know that I have some exciting things coming up including a giveaway starting on December 1st and a couple of new stories! I do try to keep up with some of the news via the internet and I must say that the coverage of hurricane Sandy is breaking my heart. I am not sure why this disaster is affecting me so much, maybe it is the thought of it happening so close to the holidays, maybe because it is forecasted to do MAJOR damage. I don't know but for some reason, everytime I see a comment about it on facebook or elsewhere, it brings tears to my eyes. So, that being said, let's all please cover the people and towns affected in prayer. <span style="color: blue; font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif; font-size: large;">

<span style="color: blue; font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif; font-size: large;">

<span style="color: blue; font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif; font-size: large;">© 2012 made in usa challenge

<span style="color: blue; font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif; font-size: large;">
<span style="color: blue; font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif; font-size: large;">
<span style="color: blue; font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif; font-size: large;">It started when my husband and I watched an evening news program where incoming college students were given the challenge of buying their school supplies and dorm supplies from American companies. They all rose to the challenge and with the exception of a coffee maker and a TV, were able to stylishly and affordably complete the task.
<span style="color: blue; font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif; font-size: large;">
<span style="color: blue; font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif; font-size: large;"> It really made me think. I thought about all the people out of work. I thought about all the people affected by droughts, floods, and fires who would normally make their livings from farming, livestock, forestry, etc who were also either out of work or looking for more ways to supplement their incomes. I thought about the little towns in middle-America that have been virtually abandoned due to all these things.
<span style="color: blue; font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif; font-size: large;">
<span style="color: blue; font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif; font-size: large;"> So, I have found myself checking out these companies and have started to challenge myself as well. I am thinking about having a weekly or monthly feature where I give you some information about a company making/selling American made products that I have tried.
